Medical Services - Our Philosophy and Practice

Dr. Jessica Reiniger believes that each patient has unique needs and tailors your exam to maximize your ocular health and vision.

As an optometrist Dr. Reiniger is able to diagnose and treat the vast majority of pathological eye issues and is well-suited to work with primary care doctors to diagnose and manage systemic eye health conditions; such as diabetic retinopathy, hypertensive retinopathy, and many others. As a primary eyecare provider, whether evaluating glaucoma, treating conjunctivitis, or monitoring for diabetic ocular complications, we use a blend of technology and “hands-on” care to enhance and preserve your vision.

Eye health is important to monitor even if you are someone who does not wear glasses. Many eye conditions do not have visual symptoms in the beginning and can be well advanced before noticing symptoms. Having a yearly eye exam is as important as an annual physical and a crucial part of self-care.

In addition to major eye diseases we also diagnose and treat various other ailments such as; conjunctivitis, styes, dry eye, corneal abrasions, and more. Many times we are able to see patients on an emergency same-day or next day basis, give us a call so we can get you feeling better soon.

When it comes time for your eye health checks

Not a big fan of having your eyes dilated? We offer Optomap. This is a device that takes a panoramic view of the retina in a split second, in order to locate, identify, and monitor various retinal conditions.

We also have OCT imaging, this stands for ocular coherence tomography. This type of imagining takes a cross-sectional image of certain areas of the retina allowing us to monitor glaucoma, macular degeneration, epiretinal membrane, and neurological and degenerative diseases.

We also offer visual field testing which is crucial to monitoring glaucoma progression but also can be used to determine visual field lose from strokes, concussion, and other neurological diseases and degenerate retinal disease.

OCT

Ocular Coherance Tomography

Uses light waves to take cross-sectional images of the retina

Ultra-wide field retinal images that shows approximately 80% of the retina.

Visual Field Analyzer

Used for screening and full analysis of the patient’s visual field. Able to show defects in the a patient’s central or peripheral visual field.
